ABLE New Mexico will be at the Rio Grande Down Syndrome Network’s Ballooning for All Rally at the Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum.
Come celebrate World Down Syndrome Day at a Balloon Rally that welcomes people of all abilities, special needs, and you! All activities will be held on the Balloon Museum lawn.
Scheduled Highlights Include:
7:00 am – 9:00 am: Balloon Inflations, Crewing, Tethered Rides, and Wheelchair Accessible Gondolas on site.
8:00 am – 11:00 am: Breakfast Tailgate Festival, Food Trucks, Music, Resource Booths, Shining Stars Art Exhibit by Department of Health and other fun activities.
This event is part of the many activities celebrating “Rise and Try Week”, held March 9 – 17, during spring break.
